Out of all the places where marine life once lived, to find them in tree sap located in a forest was quite surprising for French scientists who are evolutionists. The discovery contained in a November issue of Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences called; Evidence for marine microfossils from amber.
“…the discovery of marine microinclusions in a fossil resin: diatoms, radiolarians, sponge spicules, a foraminifer, and a larval spicule of a sea urchin were found in 100 million-year-old amber from southwestern France.”
It was thought amber could have never have preserved marine life because amber comes from the forests of the world not from the seas and the oceans. This discovery wasn’t as Science Daily would normally put it as; an increased understanding about evolution…More marine life included according to PNAS…
“Planktonic colonial centric diatoms were the most diverse marine inclusions in the investigated amber samples. Approximately 70 specimens have been confidently attributed to 9 genera. The most diverse representatives are elliptical frustules of the genus Hemiaulus, which are connected by long horns.
“The most abundant diatom inclusions are frustules of the genus Stephanopyxis ranging from 8 to 20 μm in diameter. Other subspherical, discoid, or cylindrical frustules were assignable to the genera Basilicostephanus, Coscinodiscus, Melosira, Paralia, Rhizosolenia, Skeletonema, and Trochosira.”
These discoveries extend the fossil record of the genera Paralia, Rhizosolenia, Skeletonema, and TrochosiraBasilicostephanus, Coscinodiscus, Hemiaulus, Melosira, and Stephanopyxis were already known from marine Aptian-Albian sediments. Some specimens could only be tentatively attributed to particular genera.”
Christians should be rejoicing with this discovery. The significance of this particular find is not something one sees every day. While evolutionists hold to the model that the marine life found in the sap of trees from forests which supposedly are millions of years old, creationists see this as more evidence of a worldwide flood, commonly known as Noah’s Flood…
“It is likely that the flood waters first broke trees apart, transported the shattered timber, and then deposited the remaining pieces. These would have extruded large quantities of sap, which would have engulfed nearby creatures and then, at the bottom of the flood waters, hardened into amber. Marine algae trapped in amber ought to finally prove a flood-based interpretation.”
Another scientific confirmation, the Bible is correct, and the skeptics are wrong! The marine life found in the amber which is the most unlikely place evolutionists expect to find them…Certainly a very interesting discovery!
