The exploration of Saturn’s rings has been an astounding feat. The amazing beauty of these rings, and the material which makes up Saturn’s rings. However, evolutionists have encountered problems with Saturn’s rings.
The F ring of Saturn was found to be experiencing collisions, about 30 meters per second. These collisions created some features in the ring such as spurs, grooves, gouges and fan-like structures that vary rapidly. These collisions happen on a daily basis, sometimes even on an hourly basis. What is very interesting about this discovery is the fact that it reveals Saturn’s ring is young, not millions of years old as evolutionists now claim…As an evolutionary scientist admits; “It is difficult to understand how the observed 1 km-wide ring component seen in some of the highest resolution images can survive in such a chaotic environment”
Since Saturn’s Rings like the “F” ring are a bit of a problem, not showing their age, some scientists resorted back to their familiar observation of the imaginary world. If you guessed computer simulations, then you are indeed correct with your guess. I deem these computer simulations as one of the most popular forms of research conducted in the area of astronomy today. In this latest simulation it claims…
“Saturn’s rings may be more massive than previously thought, and potentially much older, according to calculations that simulate colliding particles in Saturn’s rings and their erosion by meteorites.” Science Daily
“Esposito’s colleagues at the University of Colorado, Glen Stewart and Stuart Robbins, have computed the gravitational attraction and collisions between more than 100,000 particles, representing a sample of those in Saturn’s rings. They followed the orbit and history of each individual particle, and calculate the amount of starlight that would pass through the ring.”
When you read through a text book about evolution, it would not be surprising to go through 400 pages of alleged certainty and then you read on page 401 which is like the fine print of a contract, there is admission they are not sure how it actually works. This is similar to this particular article, as one reads down at the bottom, it finally tells you…
“One problem with this proposal for more massive and ancient rings is that the Pioneer 11 space mission to Saturn in 1979 measured the ring mass indirectly by observing charged particles created by cosmic rays bombarding the rings.
“Those mass estimates were similar to the ones from Voyager star occultations, apparently confirming the previous low mass value.”
You see with computer simulations anything is possible. You can put in numbers that can double of triple the mass value, making the rings appear older. You can also make the value of the ring’s mass very small as well. But when you look at the actual observational data from the spacecrafts, the computer simulations do not hold up. Doesn’t science demand we stick with observations that are measurable and repeatable? Indeed it does, sadly, this new hypothesis on Saturn’s Rings is nothing more than a contrived model.
We know for a fact, Saturn’s rings have been a great measuring tool for determining their age, which agrees with the Bible as being young, not old like billions of years.
